Free, and its own download
PrismEducate
An atlas for learning what medical imaging actually looks like. Pick an organ, pick a condition, and look at real published scans — labelled and explained in plain words.
What's inside
Every organ in the atlas comes with figures from published case reports, each shown with the credit its licence asks for. For these organs you can also scroll through full scans, slice by slice, the way a radiologist would:
- Bowel
- Kidneys
- Liver
- Lungs
- Pancreas
- Prostate
- Spine
- Thyroid
The brain, breast and heart sections show published figures rather than scrollable scans: the scan collections for those organs aren't licensed for us to pass on to you. We'd rather ship a smaller atlas than one we don't have the right to give away. Where a licence allows more, more gets added.
Everything here is somebody else's work, used under its own licence. The app lists every collection, its licence and the credit it asks for, on a screen you can open at any time.
What it is not
PrismEducate is for learning. It shows, labels and explains published imaging — it does not diagnose, and it is not a medical device. It is not a place to open your own scans: that's the MyBodyPrism viewer.
